Chris has been in IT for over 30 years — long enough to remember when the cloud was just weather. As Resolve's General Manager, he keeps the whole operation running smoothly: client relationships, service delivery, and making sure the team delivers on its promises. His pragmatic, no-nonsense approach means clients always get straight answers and technology that actually works for their business.

When he's not keeping Resolve on track, Chris is doing exactly the same thing at home — running a meticulously timetabled model railway. The trains, unlike most IT projects, always run on time.

Directors

Simon and Jessica are Resolve's founders and co-Directors. Simon started Resolve in 2009 after a career spanning government IT, telecommunications, and a Country Manager role at Sybase (SAP). A self-confessed tech geek, Simon is usually first in line for whatever new gadget or platform has caught his eye — and first to tell you whether it's actually worth it. He drives Resolve's strategic direction and long-term client relationships, and still gets genuinely excited about a clever piece of technology.

Jessica graduated from the University of Otago with an LLB in 2000 and brings a background in investigations and prosecutions. She leads Resolve's Security and Cyber Forensics team, conducting multi-disciplinary investigations into fraud, employment disputes, and relationship property matters — work that demands both precision and people skills in equal measure.

Both Simon and Jessica are ordained Priests in the Anglican Diocese of Wellington, serving in the Parish of Trentham in Upper Hutt. Outside work, their household is a cheerful juggling act of teenagers, labradoodles, and parishioners — each with their own very particular needs.
